This 6 acre property has everything. Fruit-bearing orchards, wild jungle area, luxurious rooms, and plenty of activities to enjoy. This homestay is an appeal for guest to come and bless the home with their presence. The homestay is the pride and joy of the Joshi's who treat each guest with incomprable warmth and grace. Mr. H. C. Joshi received this land 60 years ago from the government of India. And after spending his life in the pharmaceutical industry, the couple have turned this into a splendid homestay.
The property has eight cottages which are distinguished yet have a common theme. The ambience of a village has been recreated with all the amenities of a 5 star resort. The homestay's 8 guest rooms are huge and done using warm colours. All rooms have a dressing area and a spacious, sunny en-suite bath complete with exclusive toiletries. A huge restaurant-like area serves as a dining room for guests.
The authentic clay over serves up delicious dishes to guests effortlessly. The indoor common room has a TV, many board games and reading materials. Other than that there are innumerable outdoor sitting areas, including verandas outside each cottage. Stone walls keep the temperature moderate all year long. Plush duvets put people to sleep within minutes. The homestay shares a wall with the Jim Corbett National Park but there are plenty of activities within the homestay itself. Picking seasonal fruits and vegetables from their fields and orchards is very amusing. These fresh pickings are later used to prepare food for the guests. Kids have a ball at this homestay. There's so much place to run around, understand nature and partake in the process of harvesting. About 150 birds visit it yearly. Elephants, rabbits, deer can be seen regularly on nature walks or safaris by car.
