The house is situated on the west side of Assagao village in north Goa and facing rice fields with Anjuna's Saint Antony church as a background. The entrance facing west and the beautiful Goa sunset can be watched from the porch.
The build up area of the property is 260 Sqm with three bedrooms, two bath-rooms, large living room, dining-hall and an American style kitchen.
A L shape balcony cover the west and south sides of the house. To fulfill the vision of the Portuguese house we built a six meter high ceiling. Although there are many renovated Portuguese houses, this house is unique as it contains special artistic glass work made by Heleen.
The property is 4275 Sqm of coconut plantation with some Mangoes and other trees. We keep a few pets like two dogs cats, rabbits and ducks that roam freely in the garden. A care taker is looking after the animals and the garden and a cleaning lady can come on your request to clean wash laundry and other services. A watchman can be arranged on request.
Vagator beach is the closest beach to the house and it is about 2.5 Km to the west. Anjuna beach is 4 Km away. The main road from Calangute and Baga to Pernem district of Morjim and Arambol pass 400 m from the house. Far enough not to hear any traffic but very convenient to travel to Morjim beach and Baga which are both about 7 Km away. The famous saturday night market in Arpora is at a distance of 2 Km. Mapusa which is the capital city of north Goa district is only 7 Km to the east.
Although the property is situated in the heart of Goa's famous entertainment area the place itself is tranquil and quiet, you can hardly see any other house or hear any traffic in any direction you look.
Apart of our domestic animals, the garden is blessed with a selection of wild birds and squirrels. A troop of Langur monkeys occasionally passes by and in the rice fields cows, buffalos and goats are peacefully grazing.
Swimming pool in the garden is certainly an attraction. This pool is round shaped and has a special deck for sunbath.
