In a modest and upcoming part of Agra you will find this homestay with a lovingly maintained garden and refreshing exteriors which is almost like an oasis in Agra's Krishna Village. The spacious home is barely two years old, and therefore boasts of new and impeccable interiors. The Villa with its seven guest-bedrooms are a reflection of the owner's minimalist taste and has a peaceful, Zen-inspired ambience. The home is maintained by Mr and Mrs Rajbansh and their nephew Ankit Rajbansh who supervise a staff of three. Mr. Rajbansh is a vibrant man with over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He is fluent in Hindi, English, and French and even speaks smatterings of Japanese and German. While he ensures the smooth functioning of the homestay Mrs. Rajbansh and Ankit make sure that the rooms are flawless and menu sumptuous. The family has certain strict rules regarding curfew and dining-in. But as natives of Agra, they are a fabulous asset for visitors as they know the city inside-out. Mr. Rajbansh can tell you the history of each and every monument while Mrs. Rajbansh happily directs guests to the ideal shopping haunts. To ensure guests safety and convenience they organize taxis and autos for door-to-door pick ups which can suit all budgets. This homestay is a thirty minute drive from the Agra Cantonment railway Station and less than 3 kilometers from the historic Taj Mahal. Most of Agra's popular destinations are close to each other and can be easily covered in two days. In the evening, guests can utilize the family's extensive reading material to enjoy with a cup of tea in the lovely lawn. From the home's appearance to its flawless operation, the Rajbansh's commitment in ensuring a memorable stay for their guests is evident in every aspect and appreciated by everyone

Very clean accommodation Our stay was very brief, arrived late and left very early the next morning. Lovely, clean bedroom. Our host was very accommodating with dinner as we had not booked anything and after a long day travelling with nowhere to stop for food, he rustled up some gorgeous vegetarian food in a short time. Homestay? The house is in a remote area and unless you know Agra or get the transport provided by the host, it is difficult to find it. Although it is a homestay, you get a feeling of a hotel as it is a purpose built area with 7 bedrooms in the vicinity of the host\'s home. My booking instructions were clear saying that I\'ll be vacating the house in the evening. But still, I was forced to vacate the rooms by mid day (their check out time!). The breakfast was just okay. Moreover, although their descreption says air-conditioned rooms, no room had \'functioning\' air condition! When I asked for it, the host simply denied to switch it on saying that the temperature outside was not very warm!! Overall, it was not at all value for money I paid for it! Detail Ratings
